GLOBAL EARTHQUAKE RATTLES PACIFIC RIM

A powerful earthquake hit the Pacific Rim early this morning, causing widespread devastation and leaving hundreds worried. The epicenter of the quake was located offshore| in a region of Japan, with vibrations felt as far away as South America.
